About Mindfulness and Nutrition for Stress Retreat Series

Stressed? Overwhelmed? Lacking energy? Struggling to focus?

This Winter/Spring, Jen Ardis of Blue Heron Mindfulness and Linn Thorstensson of Straightforward Nutrition are teaming up to offer a series of full-day Mindfulness & Nutrition for Stress retreats at the Fermoy Community Youth Centre. The retreats will take place on three Sundays (10am-4:30pm) and are themed as follows:

- Digestion and Stress: Supporting one to deal with the other(Jan 22nd)

- Connecting Food and Mood for Stress Resilience (Feb 26th)

- Responding to Stress with Self Care and Compassion (April 2nd)

 

Each retreat features:

  • Mindfulness training
  • Nutritional and Psychological Information
  • Information on stress and self-care
  • Relaxed group setting
  • Practical exercises and skills
  • Delicious tastings, snacks and a light lunch

Take home tools to continue your self care routine, including:

  • Guided Meditation tracks

Who is the Mindfulness and Nutrition for Stress Retreat Series suitable for?

These retreats are suitable for anyone who is interested in increasing their self care through mindfulness and nutrition, and for anyone who simply wishes to spend an enjoyable day engaging with nourishing and illuminating practices, information and foods in a relaxed group atmosphere.

No prior experience of meditation is necessary.

Cost

The investment in your self-care for each retreat is €95 (or €160 for two people). This includes the full day, snacks, a light lunch, and guided meditations, recipes and handouts to take home and use. There are also a limited number of places at a special rate of €235 per person for all three retreats.
